On my first day of ‘freedom’, I set off on a road trip to Malacca. Packed into 6 cars, we made our way to attend a fellow ex-colleague’s wedding in Muar, stopping overnight in Malacca to explore the endless list of food destinations all planned out by the food enthusiasts. In between the many makan stops, I took a few pics of Malacca town in the day.

up the steps of the Red House, to the path leading towards A’ Famosa
Continuing on this path will bring us to the hill of famous historical attractions, the ruins of the St. Paul’s Church and the A’ Famosa. These were built by the Portugese during their rule of the colony. Photos of these attractions (taken from previous visits to Malacca) can be found at lechua’s malacca photo gallery, along with other Malacca attractions such as the Orangutan House featuring artworks of Charlie Cham.

You’ve really done a very commendable job at showing of the authenticity of the historical city of Malacca…interesting angles and great details in the pics!
your pics really shows d value of Malaysia, the sentimental values.. the values we need to keep and protect…
