Between Bayswater and Kensington is the west section of the Hyde Park, also known as Kensington Gardens. It is in these gardens that the Kensington Palace, the London home of Princess Diana, is situated.

A leisurely stroll on a wet autumn’s day through the park during this visit, reminds me of college days, when we make our way every morning from Bayswater to South Kensington. It takes about 25 minutes to get from one end to another and the view is a refreshing one of greenery, trees and swans gliding across the pond.
